Quinton's class went to Whistling Well Farm today for a field trip. It was a brisk and lovely autumn day, some of us donning scarves, hats and mittens for the first time this season. Quinton squealed with delight and jumped up and down over feeding the goats, raced with his friends and saw how the apples were washed and stored. The morning was complete with learning how to apple pick ("...lift and twist....no pulling!") and then noshing on our treasures in an orchard picnic. Yum, yum and more yum.
